Biography
Ceramic sculptor. Tomoko apprenticed for seven years in Bizen before returning to Kanazawa to open her own kiln. Her vessels and figures are fired slowly, often for nine days at a time.

Clay remembers the hand that shaped it and the fire that hardened it. I try to be worthy of both.
